Keeping Busy Inside

We spend a lot of evenings coloring these days....it's so dark and cold by the time we finish dinner we like to keep busy at home.  Daddy clearly got into the spirit on this particular night and created this prime example of Kwik Trip propaganda!  We all had a good laugh and are quite impressed with Daddy's artistic skills as well.  This will be treasured forever...seriously.
Layla just being 3 and glamorous...she put on quite a show for Mama.

The kids still love their sleepovers.  They insisted on both sleeping on the top bunk this night.  But in the morning I found Layla in her own bed.  It wasn't quite a cozy as she imagined I guess...ha ha.
My chocolate stiletto!  (Thanks Kathy)  We all got a kick out it it, yes, pun intended.  I'm lame.
Layla makes her own bling.  Guess 3-year-olds don't believe less is more.  More is more!

Joey made a massive snake, then danced around the house with it.  Whatever keeps you busy!

Bowling is what Hirschboecks do best.  But this was our first trip in awhile....
Layla did much better this time.  She liked it almost as much as the pizza, ha ha.

 "Pound" for Daddy.
Cafe Layla!  She can whip up huge meals for all of her babies.

At last, the offensive vines are berries are gone!  This was a pretty quick project...for once.  But what a difference ; )

January

 Name pancakes!  Very exciting.

Giant ABC floor puzzle.  They did  great job putting it together and got all the letters in the right order.  My brilliant babies.

We have so much snow this year but it has gotten hard and icy which is not much fun.  The other day we got a couple nice new inches so we have been back playing outside in the snow ; )
Playing in the fort Grandpa made us over Christmas!  Still holding strong. Now that is quality craftsmanship.
And of course eating the snow.  At least this is fresh stuff.

A couple new things...loveseat in our room (Maybe we will actually have a fire some night now!) and a desk in the living room.

I saw this shirt and just had to buy it.  It is more for Daddy than for Layla...he has said this exact phrase many times!
